In Hebrews 2:1-4, we see the Jewish believers in Jerusalem slowly drifting away from their faith and neglecting such a great salvation. In Hebrews 1, we saw that the ministry of Jesus was vastly superior to that of the angels. The angels were the ones who administered the law to Moses (Galatians 3:19). But, these Jewish believers had slowly, perhaps even inperceptibly, drifted away from their moorings in Jesus. They weren't firmly anchored & it was telling on them. How are some ways that we are slowly drifting away or neglecting our great salvation? In this message, I give two different ways that it is possible.
