Men’s Ministry

Five Goals of the C.R.O.S.S. Men’s Ministry

Community

We desire to see men who are involved in showing compassion and love to the “least of these” in our community. Through ministries of caring and compassion in our community, we desire to impact our community with the love of Jesus Christ. Men involved in our men’s Tuesday evening Bible Study and the men involved in our monthly Burgers & Bibles (B&B) men’s outreach will be invited to demonstrate love to our community in real and tangible ways.

Regular Fellowship

The men who are involved in B&B and our weekly men’s ministry will be encouraged to worship with us on Sunday mornings along with their families as the Lord leads them. We desire to see our men in regular fellowship with men of like mind so they can grow in their faith commitments.

Outreach

B&B is our monthly men’s outreach in which we speak into the lives of men with topics that are of interest to them. We desire to see men who are far from faith and men who are just questioning have a safe place they can come and have their questions answered about the Bible and Christianity without being judged or condemned. Faith stories will be shared so that men know what it means to have a personal relationship with Christ without applying pressure to make a faith decision.

Seek God

We desire to see men grow in their faith commitments and go deeper in God than they have before. Through involvement in powerful prayer, the study of God’s Word, and helping one another, men will learn what it means to lead their family and themselves to a deeper knowledge of Jesus.

Sharpen

Proverbs 27:17 states that we are to sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron. This is the goal for the men’s ministry, to have a support team for men of faith who are trusting God to do amazing things as they team up together in life and ministry. We desire to become a family of men who love one another and encourage one another to go deeper in our God. As men sit under the teaching of the Bible, have strong prayer for one another, and encourage one another in their faith commitments, we desire to see men who are transformed by the power of God.
